This would be a very useful capability

As well as folders we would like to be able to see the public views first in the list as these get lost in with private views

We would also like options to sort views by date created rather than just in alphabetical order.

For our customers we are having to get around this by creating an app and then a library of views within this

The look and feel of the rich text controls are under review and should address points one and two.

Point three is not something we’re likely to be able to implement as CGETNOTE commentary is not tied to a cell, but a datapoint, so the underlying cell can be of arbitrary size. Changes made to the controls should alleviate some of the related issues, however.

A quick update on this – our most requested feature.

A pure “Auto-Sum” of rows and columns is not something we can offer, as the nature of the data shown in views often contains members and their parents. Summing both parents and children will result in meaningless numbers.

What we can do, however, is make it much easier for the end users to create custom aggregations of members. In some cases this will be all visible members on rows or columns (the simplest case), but in others it may be a selection of these.

This looks like a time saver view as per TM1. It looks like a easier way to perform a calculated member for users who only which to summarise a few items. This would help minimise people needing to download to excel to sum items.
